Certidão permanente (buying): where to get it in Portugal
Order the certidão permanente do registo predial on the Predial Online site for 15 euros, or in person at a land registry office (Registo Predial) for 20 euros. It stays valid for 6 months and lists every registration and pending request on the property.

Why buyers ask for it
- IRN says the certificate has to be presented, for example, when buying or selling a property.
- If the property is registered in a book, give the description number, the book, the pages and the unit instead.
