Rent receipt (recibo de renda): where to get it in Portugal

A landlord must issue an electronic rent receipt in the Portal das Finanças at the moment rent is received, including deposits and advance payments. Landlords aged 65 or over are excused, and must instead file Modelo 44 by the end of February.
